Work from Home - Remote Special Education Teacher in Colorado
Soliantis working with schools to schedule interviews for a fully remote special education teacher. With our remote positions, you will be treated as an independent 1099 contractor, meaning youll have flexibility in your personal schedule and finances to provide remote services. Position Details
- Contract:1099 independent contracting structure
- Hours: Full-time hours (35-40 hours), including indirect time
- Platform: We work with Zoom Plus application (HIPAA/FERPA pliant)
- Rate:$28-35/hour, depending on experience
Start and End Dates: ASAP to End of School Year
* We can also look for opportunities for '25-'26as well!
School Hours:8:00 to 3:30 PM local time
Requirements
- Degree:At least a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related degrees (preferred Master's Degree in Education)
- Certification: Colorado state certification for Special Education
- Experience: PriorSpecial Educationteaching experience, with remote experience preferred
- Set Up: Home puter with camera and microphone functions with strong internet connection, capable of running Zoom or Microsoft Teams
Responsibilities
- Provide online instruction for students with IEPs.
- Develop and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
- Collaborate with onsite staff and faculty to support student needs.
- Facilitate in virtual IEP meetings with family and faculty members.
