Virtual Special Education Teaching Positions for the 2024-2025 School Year
Position: Special Education Teacher
Location: Virtual/Remote South Carolina
Duration: Full Time; 2024-2025 School Year
Caseload:3 positions available. 2 Full Time and 1 Part Time. Middle School and High School.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Specialized Instruction: Develop and tailor lessons across subjects to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students, employing innovative methods to support both academic and social development.
- Develop and Implement IEPs: Create and regularly update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with clear goals and strategies to address each students unique learning needs, with a particular focus on the Transition section.
- Support Behavioral and Emotional Growth: Implement strategies to manage behaviors, foster a positive learning environment, and help students build social skills and emotional resilience.
- Collaborate with the Education Team: Work closely with teachers, specialists, and families to ensure a cohesive approach to student education, actively participating in meetings and maintaining ongoing communication.
Job Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Special Education
- Active Special Educationlicense and teaching certificate
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a school setting
- Experience withteaching virtually is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable computer and high-speed internet (Chromebooks and tablets are not permitted)
Pay & Benefits:
- 1099 Contract Position

Interview Process:
- Initial Screening: A 10-15 minute call with a VocoVision Recruiter
- Pass a Tech Screening: 15 minute assessment to gauge your proficiency on the Zoom platform and test you internet speed/connectivity
- Virtual Interview: A 20-30 minute interview with the school district
- Offer: Typically made within 24-48 hours after the interview
