The roleAs Stuff's Chief Health Correspondent, you'll drive our health content strategy, delivering compelling video and text content..
One day you might be reporting on healthcare innovations, mental health services or public health challenges. The next, you'll be interviewing leading clinicians, telling real world stories, translating new medical research for everyday New Zealanders or fronting a video series that reaches hundreds of thousands of people.
You'll work across text, video, audio and social platforms to ensure Stuff remains the destination for trusted, accessible and engaging health content.
Requirements- Drive Stuff's health editorial direction and content.
- Break health and wellbeing stories.
- Deliver health content that has national impact.
- Build trusted relationships with clinicians, researchers,advocates, industry organisations, and health sector leaders
- Produce engaging content across digital, video, audio and social platforms
- Use audience insights and data to identify emerging trends and opportunities
- Help grow audience engagement, loyalty and Stuff memberships
- Champion innovative storytelling techniques and multimedia journalism
- Commission and manage freelance contributors where required
- Represent Stuff publicly as a leading voice on health issues
