An opportunity has arisen for a Family Lawyer to join a well-established, high-performing practice within a respected, full-service New Zealand law firm.
With offices across the North Island, this firm has built a strong reputation for delivering practical, partner-led advice to individuals, families and businesses. Its Family team is one of the firm’s largest and busiest practices, with a consistent pipeline of high-quality work.
The Role
You’ll join a collaborative and experienced team working across a broad range of Family Law matters, including:
- Relationship property and separation
- Care of children and family violence
- Asset protection and contracting out agreements
- Trust and estate disputes arising from relationship breakdown
The practice includes both
private client and legal aid work, offering strong variety and the opportunity to build meaningful
court experience.

About You You will be a Family Lawyer with:
- Around 4+ years PQE
- Solid experience across relationship property and care of children matters
- Confidence in managing files and engaging with clients
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach
- A genuine interest in developing your practice within a supportive environment
