Schedule and Pay:
1st Shift: Monday through Thursday 6:00 AM - 3:15 PM ; Friday 6:00AM - 10:00AM OT after as required
Salary Grade B
$20.20 - $24.40
Job Summary:
The Glass Area Assembler is responsible for assembling all product that has glass, wire mesh and speaker cloth.
Job Duties:
- Reads and interprets paperwork along with organizing and prioritizing work orders.
- Responsible for collecting all materials (doors) from designated areas throughout manufacturing.
- Ability to use the glass cutter properly.
- Possess the knowledge of quality standards.
- Inspect all glass and wire mesh products when received from the vendor to ensure they meet our quality specifications.
- Prioritizes hot jobs as required.
- Receives direction from leadership and notifies them when more work is needed.
- Reads and interprets construction drawings to understand how parts need to be installed/assembled.
- Responsible for delivering the product to the Shipping Department.
- Maintains the work area in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
- Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines as well as notifies leadership of any existing or potential safety issues.
